Spring 2023 starts as a “predictor” for the rest of the coming months…cold and windy! The day she had to be put back in the water with the crane wind gusts were strong but we managed (with Mariteam Shipyard) to install also the mast. That was on the 20th of April, I seem to remember. Then we left Elsa at the berth close to the crane and went back to Sint Annaland the week-end when we spent some time to put up the two front sails. The boom-vang turned out to still leak some oil so we had to send it back for repair. Elsa spent in total 4 weeks in Sint Annaland and we sailed her in the Oosterschelde for a couple of great sunny and windy weekends, when we spotted several seals and also one “bruinvis” (a sort of small dolphin). By the way, now Elsa has a “Leiden” sticker 😉
