In the beginning of June 2022 we brought Elsa home, or better say “back” home because we brought her back to her previous home harbor 🙂 In fact we not only live close to Elsa’s previous owners (Willem and Els), but they are also the parents of our neighbor. This was just a funny coincidence.
We brought her home via the inner water of the Netherlands, the so called “staande mast route”, and it took us about 2.5 days to motor what otherwise takes 1 hr and 20 minutes by car 😉 . This is also because there are about 20 bridges and a number of locks from Sint Annaland to home.
